How Coronavirus Impacts My Daily Life, Family and Community

We all heard it way back in February that there was a new type of flu-like virus call "Coronavirus" outbreak in China but little that we know it would make it way to us here in the US and the rest of the world.

We heard about first case in the US which started in here, Washington in a nursing home not to far from home.   Thing went down to hell from then on.  Elderly residents at the nursing home kept exposed to the coronavirus.  It was heartbreaking to see so many people had passed due to this deadly bugs.

A week ago, governor of Washington order schools in all county to shut down along with other large social gathering like sport events or big gathering group of people.   You know the rest what went down.

Stay home, wash your hand, social distancing, and so forth.....

So, we're pretty much stay home and avoid going out as much as possible.  This is a good time to do Spring cleaning anyway, right?

My twin teen daughters are both eight grader. They are dying to see their friends, going back to school and get back to their other activities.  Unfortunately, we have no idea when this will happen.

My husband and I are both falling in to a high risk group.  With him have heart condition and I'm having autoimmune disorder.   We are a little bit on the caution side.

I'm thinking about making my own mask and wear it when I go out.   It's freaking me out now that I'm more aware of people being near me at grocery store and I'm nervous.  Sometimes, I held my breath because I'm afraid to breath in the air exhaled from other.   Was I a bit too worry?  I don't know.  I don't think so because I had a person sneezed at me before when she walked pass me.

My daughters, husband and Ruby at Blaine-Birchbay Beach state park.

We're so lucky that both of us are work from home and can spend time with our girls.   The other day we went for a picnic at Blaine- Birchbay State park.  Our park permit was expired and we need to get a new one.  Luckily, it turned out that it was a free park visiting day!  It was nice to get to go out and get a fresh air and enjoyed the nature.  The beach was peaceful and quiet. There were people here and there in a distance.   I saw a few elders quietly observed passerby in their beach chairs.

What are you up to during this Coronavirus Pandemic?  Share your story with us here.

I've heard that it's a mother day in England.  "The best thing you can do for your mom right now is to stay home", that's the message from the English official.  Can you imagine not get to hug or see your mom on this day?

My brother and sister are in Thailand and the government just started to shut down places.  What will happen to them?  I have to wait and see.

We love to hear how you're coping with all these things going on.  This is a place where you can share your thoughts.   You can say what you want as long as it doesn't hurts others.
