The question you wrote is not correct. I think the "3" got in there by mistake.
Let's say we take the number "3"away. and look at the rest of the pattern.
You should get;
(k5, skpo, k6, k2tog)twice. This mean to work what are in the parenthesis twice. Once completed, you then have 30 sts. Then k2. the total number of stitches for this row is 32.
