Colourwork Charts

Hi I am new to colour work knitting and have a question please. The patttern says “ starting with a RS row, work 1 20-st repeat of the colourwork chart and 1 repeat of the 20 rows in stocking stitch”.
The whole patter is in stocking stitch - so I am confused.

I would appreciate some help please

Hello Moira,

Thanks for the question and visit.
After many rounds of reading this pattern. I have concluded that there is nothing more than to work this 20 sts-repeat chart for 20 rows.

It was a bit confusing at first because it put more emphasis on the first RS row to follow the chart including the edge sts. Then it directs you to work the chart for 20 rows in stockinette st.

I would just work the chart and then bind off in B.
