increase k1p1k1p1k1 in the same stitch

I am having a real problem with this pattern. It is k1, p1,(twice) k1 all in same stitch. I just can't seem to make it work.

Thank you for visiting and submitting your question. I'm glad I had a chance to make a little video clip on how to k1,p1,k1,p1,k1 into one stitch for you. I hope it will you with your problem. Just ignore the last part when I knitted a pebble. I was just showing other knitters how to do that just in case they were curious.

I finished this hat awhile ago but didn’t get a chance to post it. It is my experimental piece. The Pom Pom can be remove when you want to put up a pony tail. Thanks to my models who can tolerates such condition. :)
