Help figuring out a pattern

I’m knitting the Easton Striped Pullover from Two of Wands. I’ve completed the front and back panels. Now I don’t understand the directions for the sleeves.

Place markers 8.5” down from shoulder seams on both sides of the front and back.
With MC and 10.5 needles, right side facing, pick up and knit 46st between markers on one side.

It’s the last sentence that is confusing me.
