You can make either cable 10 front or cable 10 back.
Cable 10 front (C10F) is to work over 10 sts. Start out by placing the first 5sts on a cable needle and leave it at the back of work. Knit the next 5sts making sure the yarn is at the back of the cable needle and then knit the 5 sts on the cable needle. The end result is a left crossing over right.
Cable 10 back (C10B) is pretty much the same except you have to place the first 5 sts on hold at the back of work making. You'll get right crossing over left on this one.
