how to slip 1 st knit wise on 1st row
Question
My pattern calls for casting on 37 sts. followed by Row 1 stating I should slip 1 as if to knit. When I did this the stitch I had just cast on fell off the needle. Why? What should I do?
Answer
Maybe because the cast on st was too loose (sometimes it happens with single cast on method) or it could be something else.
Try using long tail cast on method because it is more study at the base. I think this will help solve the problem.
Thanks for the question and happy knitting!
