I don’t understand doing the sleeves

I’m knitting a size 18cm jacket. Now starting the sleeve it says change to 4mm needles and do the size and do 56cm increasing at both end and so on. Or does it mean just using the 56cm pattern eg

RS: P3 etc or P1

Please help

Hi,

I don't see the sleeve instruction that starts with 4mm needle. I see 3.5mm needle for the sleeve and it looks pretty straight forward.
I think you meant the hood.

for the hood, You maintain the 18cm size but follow the same pattern as for back of the size 56cm.
