This charity is based in South Africa, and ask for 8" x 8" squares which the local people sew into blankets for aids orphans. The wool and cotton square blankets are given to those children who live on tips as they don't easily flare up when near fires. This is a very worthwhile charity. These children often have only the clothes they stand up in and the nights can be very cold. Please visit this site and take a look to see if you'd like to contribute - many thanks.

Thank you Jane. I am admiring your work and dedication to the orphanages of South Africa. I visited you site several times in the past and I also have mentioned your project on knitting for charity page previously. I first learned about you site and your project through SBI. I read a letter you or someone else from your organization send to DR. Ken regarding how your site began and how fast it continues to grow with supporters all over the world. It was so fascinating. I wish you and your team the best and God bless.

Many thanks Ratcha. I am not part of the organization, I only knit squares for them. I do however, feel strongly that they deserve our support. Kind regards.
