I have a pattern that says to knit rows 22-30: Repeat Rows 20 and 21, 4 times; then repeat Row 20 once more. This is all in one line. Can you explain this to me?
"Row 20: K1, P1, K1, Purl across to last 3 sts. K1, P1, K1.
Row 21: [K1, P1]; twice, Knit across to last 4 sts, [P1, K1]; twice.
Rows 22 - 26 (28, 30): Repeat Rows 20 and 21, 2 (3, 4) times; then repeat Row 20 once more."
Okay, I found the pattern. So row 22-30 are just the repeats of row 20 and 21 for 4 times. What I told you before was wrong.
Now you've got it right?
Have a great day!

knitting multi rows by: Judy
That's just it. There are no directions for rows 22-30. I thought the directions for those were what followed with rows 20 and 21. But I am unsure if rows 20 and 21 4 times each.

Answer to my question by: Judy
Ratcha - I should have told you the pattern I'm working on. Sunseeker Shade Basic Baby Set I'm working on the Baby Cardi and I'm starting row 22 of the yolk. That may help you help me understand. And maybe the answer you gave me is correct. Thanks Judy

knitting multiple rows with repeats by: Ratchadawan
"knit rows 22-30: Repeat Rows 20 and 21, 4 times; then repeat Row 20 once more."
This is how I would interpret the instruction above;
Work row 22 to 30 as directed in the pattern.
Then work row 20 to 21 of the pattern. Repeat the work of row 20-21 for 3 more times (total of 4 sets). Then work row 20 of the pattern one time.
I hope this helps and thank you for the question.
Have a wonderful day!
