Knitting nitwit asking: does pattern correspond with picture


Hi there, I’ve had this pattern attached to this picture for 30yrs. An old friend of my mothers (now passed away) made this sweater for me and I loved it. I would like to make it or have it made again as it was lost years ago. I have however been told by a friend hat the pattern does not correspond with the picture. Which would be very sad! Can you confirm?
