Hi, i have been given 14 balls of Patons glitz chic shimmer aran wool. it's not aran wool has i know it. could you help with what weight i can knit to patterns dk etc. has the wool this very thin or did they do patterns for this wool. many thanks

I think you can knit pretty much anything you like. Scarf, blanket, shawl, decorative pillow. Here are example of what knitters knitted with this yarn;
