If you start with a number of stitches, will you always have the same number at the end of the row?

Hi,

Thanks for rising and questioning.
It depends on the instruction.
If you don't have any decrease or increase stitches, then you should have the same number of sts at the beginning and the end of the row.

What is your pattern?
