Pattern Increase Question

I have a question about this pattern, and how to work the increase in the pattern - Cast on 2 stitches (This part I know) then it says to : Knit in Garter Stitch increasing 1 stitch at every other end until you have 32 stitches

I am thinking that I will knit those 2 stitches, then I am not sure how to increase the stitch at every other end ???

Hello Misti,

This is how I understand it;

Cast on 2 sts. Knit all rows and increase 1 st at the end of each row.
So basically, we just make one increase every row at the end, so that both side would have the equal amount of increases. The more you knit, the bigger triangle will get. I would do an increase right just before the last st of each row because it will make edges look smoother.

Another way you could do is to make an increase at the beginning of each row right after 1st st. Either ways will do.
