Shawl collar cardigan


I’ve knitted the front borders where the buttons/ buttonholes are placed. Now I’m about to knit the shawl collar
Instructions say to cast on halfway across the right front border,then sleeve, then back, then sleeve, then left front ending halfway across border. I don’t understand what happens to the unstiched half of right and left border?
( Make up instructions just state join side seams etc )

Hi there,

Your sweater is beautiful! The shawl collar that you're working on is going to be on the top of the neck and parts of both fronts. So, I don't think you have to do anything with the unstitched left and right front. Just add buttons at the end.
