What does this mean? Sl 1, K1 *sl the yo, k2*, end sl yo, K2 by: Ratchadawan
Sl 1, K1 *sl the yo, k2*, end sl yo, K2
This means to slip 1 st, knit 1 st and then you will work what is in the asterisks repeatedly. In this case, you do slip the yo over st on to the needle and then k2. You'll keep doing "sl yo, k2" until the end of the row. You should ends up with sl yo, k2 at the end of the row.
The asterisks indicate the beginning and end of repeated pattern. Actually, in this case it's not necessary to state the ending with "sl yo, k2" because it's already ending up that way.
This is another way to write it, work sl 1, k1, *sl yo, k2; repeat from * to end of row
Thank you for sending the question and I hope this helps.
