It's difficult for me to say because I don't know what you're making. Is there a picture that you can look at?
I mean you're right in term of sl1,k1,psso. I think it was just a typo. The problem here is with the k1, before sl, 1. I'm not sure if it's suppose to be there or not.
The pattern could be k2tog, k1(this is the center between the decreases), then sl1,k1,psso, k28 or it could be k2tog, sl1,k1,psso.
Sorry I couldn't be much help here. If there is a link to the pattern then I'd love to see it.
