Wrap and turn

My row says k8, wrap yarn round next stitch and turn. I have 9 sts on needle. Do I knit the 9th st and wrap it round that or do I wrap round need,e before that stitch.

You knit 8 stitches first, and then slip the 9th stitch onto the needle and wrap the yarn and turn. (some people move the yarn to the front before they wrap and then return it after wrapping). It's a bit awkward to wrap the last stitch on a row.
