My pattern's purl row (wrong side row) asks that I w.b.n. which means to make the purl 2 together stitch with the yarn behind the needle, as though I were going to knit. The directions indicate purling through the back loops rather than the front loops as you normally would purl. If I do that I seem to come away with 1 stitch on my right hand needle, when the pattern directs me to have 2 sts. When I execute the w.b.n. p2tog (through the front loops, as is normal) I get 2 sts as the pattern directs me. Will this be a problem with the little selvage loop that will start the row? Or is there another way to get the 2 loops when I'm purling 2tog?
Thank you!
Jennifer
Comments for How do I follow my vintage instructions that say w.b.n. p2tog t.b.l. ?
