Pattern says to continue in pattern till measuring 7 inches Is the ribbing included in the 7 inches?

Hi,


This sounds to me like it is including the ribbing. It would have been more clear if it said until the piece measures 7 inches from the beginning.

I would can read through the pattern and add all the lengths of different sections of a piece that you're making to see if it matches the given length of the pattern. For example, if you're making a sweater, you can check to see how long it's suppose to be with the ribbing, the body, and the armhole. This will give you a better idea.
