Learning Lace - How to pass the 2nd throught 5th over the first

Question :I have an instruction that says "K1 P1 K1 P1 K1 into 1 st. Pass 2nd through 5th sts over first; you may find it helpful to pass one st over at a time." I watched your video on K1 P1 K1 P1 K1 into 1 st, so I'm set there. I was wondering what the second part meant? How do I pass the 2nd through 5th stitches over the first?

Answer:
This is how I understand from what you wrote.
After you do K1 p1 k1 p1 k1 into a st, you then use the left needle to pick up the second st on the right needle and pass it over the 1st st, and slip it off the needle. Then do the same with the 3rd, the 4th and the fifth.
