Pattern doesn't make sense!

I have 85sts remaining!
1st Row k1, sl, k1 psso knit to last 3sts k2tog k183sts.
2nd Row P1, p2tog purl to last 3sts,p2togtbl,p181sts.

1st and 2nd rows set raglan shaping.
FOR 2ND,3RD,4TH,5TH AND 6TH sizes only
Work 6 rows dec 1st at each end as before in every row leaving 79sts!!

Problem: BY working 6 rows, more than 79sts are taken off. I've followed the Raglan shaping and just by knitting two rows it reduces to 79sts! I cannot fathom it out.
PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE.

Hi Carol,

It's impossible to leave 79 sts if you have to decrease 6more rows
unless you are size 1.

There is a mistake somewhere there.
What is your size?
