Rows???

I am working on a child's sweater, which I've done before but, I'm confused here.
I have to knit 12 rows in A 12 rows in B work 52 rows. How does that work out. No matter how I count it it's more than 52 rows HELP

Hi Elizabeth,

I think this is because there is an additional instruction for the sweater once you reach 52 rows. It could be a marker for an armhole. Can you look at the rest of the directions and see what they are?
