The pattern says 1 ply and 17 needles, nobody seems to sell one ply?

This is dollhouse knitting.
I have knitted before for a dollhouse but not for a while.
The pattern says 1 ply but now the yarns have lots of different names but not 1 ply?

If you can't find a single-ply yarn then I would suggest looking for a yarn with the same or similar gauge as the one in the pattern. It doesn't have to be 1 ply.

I googled "1-ply yarn" and "single-ply yarn" and many showed up but I'm not sure how it is at your end.
